After years and years of research, S.C. Deacon Designs is pleased to produce a boot buckle set inspired by Tim Allen's in The Santa Clause films.
 
The boot buckles are made of brass with a golden metalic finish. They are wide enough for 30mm straps to pass through ("one-inch" stitched leather straps). They will fit the same straps used with most colonial style shoe buckles and other vendors who sell shoe buckles. They are completely symmetrical, they can face either way. Weight is 1.2 oz per buckle.
 
If you want them to curve more, you are able to curve them by hand by applying pressure to both sides.
 
If you'd like these buckles to be aged (to match the 3.15" manually aged finish or to get a closer look to the 4" gold finish manually aged finish), I have had luck with black spray paint, rub n' buff, paint thinner, and mineral spirits to manually age the design to make the details pop. These buckles will match perfectly with the 3.15" buckles, but NOT with any of the finishes of the current 4" buckle model. "Manually Aging" does get them to look more alike. Returns are not accepted for finishes not matching. In the future, all buckles will be made at the same factory and with the same finish. Production issues created this one-off problem between the smaller buckles and the larger 4" one.
